Hi! Is just got a Powercolor Hellhound RX 6600XT gpu, it was listed as a non working card, and now i am trying to figure out what is going on with this card. The symptoms are:
-12v is not shorted -all VRM outputs are shorted to GND, measured at the points marked red on the picture

-did not find any obvious damage to the pcb, or any missing part...

-powering the card end up triggering the bench power supply current limit, and then shutting off the card (after current limit, the current drops back to zero, i guess maybe the current protection on the PCB itself)
I am new in the GPU repair field, so please help me with some tips to repair this card. I also looking for the schematic of this card. Thansk for the help!

Are they helping others online, or just running a repair shop?
My goal here is to repair the card myself and learn.
Go look on their page and find out for yourself, send them an email and inquire.

Frtom a quick look I would say that card hasn`t been treated well! The connector bottom right is broke and it looks like the inductor (bottom left) could possibly be damaged, it should have R46 on it like the top right...Maybe desolder that and see if the short stays.

Thanks for reply, i attached detailed photos below if that helps.
And yes, as far as i know the previous owner tried to repair it, flux and soldering marks were on the bottom left connector and on the lowest two core VRM (closest to the damaged connector) also some marks of soldering is present on the two separate VRM on the top and top left.
I tried to clean the flux with some IPA, some residues are still present.

I will check your tips and reply with more details soon.

Thanks for reply!
I attached some detailed photos below, maybe it helps. I think none of the IC-s are cracked, maybe remains of some flux looks like a crack.
