It could be all kinds of things. Start by filling out your system specs so we know what you are working with.

Motherboard and PSU are certainly possibilities. First thing I would do is give a good visual inspection. Make sure everything is properly seated/plugged in, and check for visible signs of damage.

Next, remove all non-essential peripherals.

Thanks for answering i havent touched anything for almost a 2months so i dont think that something wasn't plugged right atleast, i was trying to smell something when that happend but nothing,no smells,no warning nor even a sound. I am trying to figure out if it is motherboard or power supply so i can change it but i dont want to risk and change something that didn't cause the problem.

Still, a good idea to disconnect from power and re-seat everything. No smells or warning doesn't mean something didn't go kaput.

You may want to disassemble and place everything on a non-conductive surface and try it out of case, without storage or anything except MB/cpu/ram/psu/and gpu....just to see if it will fire up.

After that, i'd try another power supply. 500w is adequate, but still working that psu a bit harder than I like, and that is one of FSP lower-grade power supplies.

First step in troubleshooting is K.I.S.S

Has the system been moved or otherwise disturbed? Something could have become unseated ever so slightly if so.

Does your motherboard have any sort of speaker attached to listen for beep codes? If so, pull all of the RAM out and it should start beeping like crazy.

I would certainly do what @DirtyDingusMcgee recommended. I have used the motherboard box to setup on and used a small flat head screwdriver to jump the Power SW pins.

Go get a power supply
Depending on what brand the previous PSU was (we have no idea of that or anything really) I am inclined to lean that way too.

Easier to get that for troubleshooting than just guessing at that rate, otherwise a shop can tell person, now other thing could ge bad is the electricity source from the power strip to the substation and power plant

Yeah, or there's a short somewhere etc. I agree its way better to get info before guessing.

I did disconnect everything and connected it back, expect gpu cuz its little bit complicated for me and same pressing power button nothing happens.
I was trying to do paper clip test and fan doesnt spin so ill try with new power supply and will se whats gonna happen cuz i heard they last from 2 to 5years

First step in troubleshooting is K.I.S.S

Hi, no it doesnt not have any sort of speaker, is it safe to power jump it with screwdriver tho? Im gonna try it

Its pc like 8years old and still have, has the same psu

Ill probably take it to shop so they can test psu and else and then ill know which should i change

So first I'll get it to some shop so they can test psu cuz i think its up to it but not quiet sure i dont want to change psu and at end gonna be motherborad,so yea anyway ill keep you updated what happened

Check power cord first and circuit breaker. Check surge protector or UPS if you have one. Check if anything is glowing inside the computer case - many modern components have leds.

Then I certainly lean towards it being the psu but the shop should be able to tell you for sure.

Unlikely, but power button on case is a possibility. Tests already suggested would isolate failure there.

Just touch the 2 pins with the screwdriver, don't drag the driver all over the board hoping to find an arc, just those two pins.

I am kinda scared to jump start motherboard with screwdriver, is it safe i wont ruin it?
You could use a spare jumper instead, but don't leave it on. When you've just removed the power connector, it'll be clear which two exact pins you need to short.

So let me update ya all since you helped me, power supply is dead thats why it doesnt turn on

Buy a good quality psu with a good warranty. Look at the power needs of a potential newer system you would consider owning to determine wattage. 750w-850w is probably realistic and would have a wide range of options.

Buy a new psu from somewhere with a good return policy. If mobo or gpu no longer turn on you might wish to reassess your options without spending any money at this point.
