Hello friends, I need desperate help
I recently bought a used, faulty RX 570 (I already knew it had the problem and bought it for a good price), but I can't seem to solve the problem.
The problem initially seemed to be with the BIOS, which is why I bought it. I was hoping to just install the correct BIOS and everything would be fine.
The card is recognized by the PC, Windows, etc. I can even install the AMD driver, but it's as if the driver didn't recognize the card or something like that. I can't change the screen resolution, which is at a very low resolution. The AMD software says the hardware isn't compatible with it, and Windows displays Error 43 in the device manager.
Other points:
- I tried to find the correct BIOS on Techpowerup, and I even found my card model there, but the BIOS isn't compatible (after installing the BIOS, there's no more video, so I have to switch to the onboard video and return to the BIOS). - I found a BIOS that allowed the driver to be installed (the way I bought it wasn't even possible), but even with the driver installed, nothing changes.
- I tried using Patcher and it didn't change anything either.
- Whenever I tested new drivers, I used DDU to clean them
Information about the card:
Manufacturer: Powercolor
Model: AXRX 570 4GBD5-DHDV3/OC - Red Dragon
Memory: 4gb Micron (I opened the card to confirm).
I don't know if the problem is still in the BIOS, I couldn't find another BIOS that worked anywhere, if it's a driver problem (I tested several driver versions from AMD's website) or if the problem could be in the hardware itself, with some component causing it.
Tested BIOS that did not work: BIOS 1 | BIOS 2 | BIOS 3 | BIOS 4
BIOS that worked but with error 43 in Windows and without being recognized by the AMD Driver: BIOS 1 | BIOS 2
