You do realize that most NEW monitors still come with vgaIf VGA is important, maybe you should use some ancient GPU instead. Moving away from ancient analog connectors is nothing but a good thing.

Unless you want to pay $200 + for a monitor with hdmi/Display port then finePutting it there for compatibility doesn't mean it's the preferred standard. If you're serious about your image quality VGA just isn't an option anymore, hence it being phased out.
