PowerColor Red Devil RX 9070 XT Limited Spectral White Edition Reportedly Arriving on April 8

Late last week, a leak suggested a forthcoming Spectral White Limited Edition refresh of the existing Red Devil Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card design. PowerColor's pale reinterpretation of flagship level hardware appeared online courtesy of an accidental Amazon listing; indicating $899/€929 pricing. The Taiwanese manufacturer's Spectral White product line—historically favoring Hellhound SKUs—is viewed favorably as offering a nearly "all-white" aesthetic; extending to proper coloration of PCB and I/O panel designs.

As expected, PowerColor has distributed Limited Edition packages to media and influencer outlets—as evidenced by Overclock3D's very recent showcasing of a sample unit. In response to last week's leak, OC3D's "Tiny" Tom Logan "previewed" the ghostly Red Devil RX 9070 XT variant—he noted that a "performance/review" NDA is still in effect; due to be lifted on April 2. Video coverage explored a slight "bending of the rules," but Logan did not power up his evaluation specimen. As evidenced by the unboxing process, PowerColor has bundled in several Spectral White-tinted accessories—indicating a commendable level of attention to detail. By contrast, the manufacturer's slightly inelegant and contradictory nomenclature is confirmed by outer box labelling—loudly exclaiming: "RED DEVIL Spectral White." Amusingly, Logan and his team have nicknamed this new sub-variant: "White Devil."

If this ends up $899.99 or whatever, this is dead on arrival. A RX 9070 XT is not worth that price.

$749.99 is still way overpriced but unfortunately realistic because their own Reaper model's new MSRP is $699.99.



At least it's actually all white, including the PCB. Although in that video he should've powered it on so we can see what the hellstone shroud RGB looks like.

I think 599$ is before the 20% tarifs. Even AMD said that they keep the 599$ (before any tarifs apply). which makes 599 over 700$ with just the tarifs.

I wish more brands did what PowerColor is doing, I'm pretty sure it's not cheap to go with white components, I mean even the cables and power connectors are white... the volume is way less than the normal black variants, which should cost them more and I think it's the reason other brands don't do it.
It's easier for brands just to change cooler shrouds and backplates and call it white, lazy way.

Not just that, even the whole heatsink is white. PowerColor really put in a lot of effort, unlike for example the Sapphire Pure or the Asrock Steel Series.

It is not. Basically, there are two versions of the RX 9070 XT Red Devil. The limited edition comes in a really nice looking box with extras like a keycap, a GPU support stand and a case badge. This is the one that's limited.

If you don't want the extras stuff, the normal RX 9070 Red Devil is not limited assuming you can get your hands on one for a reasonable price. The same applies for the white edition.

Just depends on where you're at. In NL there's models from ASUS, Sapphire, XFX, ASRock, PowerColor, Gigabyte and even Acer just started popping up a couple days ago.

XFX definitely has the most variants however. Swift, Quicksilver, and Mercury with black, white, gaming, OC and Mag Air options.

there are stocks in my local (not Spain). honestly, its the only brand that hasn't sold out like the rest just disappeared when as soon as people knew they were available but the PowerColor, particularly the Red Devil just sat there and left all alone like a person that nobody wanted. not sure why is that but I'm trying to look at forums why the Red Devil seems unpopular. I wanted the Red Devil if only it was available earlier like a month ago but I ended up with the Asrock Taichi.
