I wonder prices of old 4x series will be higher when they release 5x series cause 4 series no longer being produced?

Also currently usling 4070 and just bought 4070 tl super for future but shall I just return it and wait for 5x series ?

You might see some good ebay second hand prices but don't expect retail pricing to change much.

Nvidia stopped production on most models a while back and humans being humans were panick buying thinking 50 series was jacking up prices.

If you need more performance and the 5080 checks that box sure.

I'd wait for reviews then make a decision although I'd shoot for a reference model no need to pay 200+ usd more for the same gpu becuase it looks like a spaceship.

On the second hand market where I live you can get 40 series at well under MSRP, you can even get some cards at retail under MSRP already, been that way a while, like 4080's for example.

It'd be nice to get some relief on the 2nd hand market. Bad retail pricing pulls up the second hand market quite a bit.

A second hand 3070 for $200 should be more than enough for most people.

Reviews in 2 to 3 weeks. It's going to be a sizable jump, but only you can decide if it's worth it. Wait for reviews to make an informed decision about a potential purchase

The 5080 should give you a good idea of how the 5070ti performs they should be less than 20% apart reviews will likely go live on Jan 29th for the 5080/90.

I wouldn't expect massive differences in raw performance but you likely spend the same for the 5070ti and it should at least a bit faster with access to DLSS4.
