To a fairly large degree I have removed hardware as the culprit behind major issues that occur only when FH5 is open. What started out as widespread [Entire player base] crashes and broken elements within game modes has suddenly taken a serious turn into personal system corruption and removing access to drive game files are located on. These issues started about the time everyone clocked out last Friday and continue to grow more numerous and debilitating as the vacation cycle progresses.

I play on Steam. Client/app loads and works fine in all other instances preceding opening FH5. Entire PC works flawlessly preceding FH5 loading. Regardless of whether game crashes or is exited normally the computer needs to be restarted in order to function properly. This consists of a full cycle requesting it to shut off - hangs - or hitting the reset button on case to complete reboot. Only at that point is my game drive discoverable and the widespread OS related errors cease. Game files consistently verify 100% when accessible.

Very open to solutions or other comments that might help resolve whether I'm alone in facing this severity of issues. Suspect that is not the case.
CDI screenshot for reference. Windows reports 0 critical errors and numerous lesser errors related to FH5 servers.

I have FH5 -- is there something that I can check here that doesn't involve online play, or is this purely a multiplayer issue? Only asking because I've not gone online with it yet.

Everything but story mode is online. Never bothered with all the nags from Steam and FH5 making sure I know that I'm offline.

After a few hours more under the hood I opened Steam again and was greeted with a 500mb(!) Steamworks Shared update attempting to run and one of equal size from FH5. Much within the game stills appears to be broken. My computer has not exhibited further signs of instability or failure to recognize drives. Crazy stuff.

I probably chose the wrong word there (sorry) -- I was more getting at the game in single player versus multiplayer, not running Steam as a whole in offline mode. Something that I could just fire up alone here to compare my results against yours.

In that case, game crashes in the open world and freezes or odd behavior racing against AI have been very common.
Multiplayer is habitually a mess of performance enhancing mods with temporal or global impact on gameplay. This was notably worse.

New season (regular update) took effect today. FH4 had a similar downward trajectory that amazingly astonishingly rebounded to a new high in a timely manner that improved corporate reporting figures of FH5. Shock and awe at how neatly this parallels with leaks of FH6 compared to leaks of FH5.

Update: The Eliminator appears to be a major factor. Very careful testing (3rd unsafe shutdown) was only able to reproduce a system crash after entering this game mode for a few minutes. Not a single other game, game benchmark, file verification, drive error test, or use case has been able to isolate a single issue related to performance or memory controller errors. Going to send a report to FH5 support with caveat it still has small possibility their game revealed a hardware issue.
