Hey guys, So i've now got my watercooling loop fully set up. However, when I went to do a leak test all was good for about 4 to 5 minutes until the pump started leaking from the back. I tried turning the pump speed up and this only increased the leaking. Do you think the pump if just defective?

Is the leak coming from the pump, or from the fitting you have screwed into the pump?
Futher if it's from the fitting, is it leaking from weak pressure from the tubing, or not screwed in tight/dodgy thread?

It is coming from the back of the pump, definitely not the tubing screwed on to the pump; the tubing is all very tight and I used multiple cable ties to ensure it was tight.

EDIT: I should also note that I literally just took the pump out of the box and put it in my system (Didn't do anything else to it or with it.)

If the pump casing is compromised and is leaking then it's time to do an RMA.

Just have a quick question; Is this too much/not enough thermal paste for my 4930k (I just have to check with my OCD :p) - http://imgur.com/c17FW2v

What would you also say is the best method? Just a line down the centre or a circle in the middle?

Imagine the shape of a pea that's been squished together slightly on it's sides, AKA grain of rice.

Hahah I was a little nervous, but I had to do it an awkward angle, around the tubing :p So you think that amount is fine?

The original picture? probably a bit too much of a long line and won't spread properly.
