Quadro K2000 GOP not detected with MSI Z790 Carbon Wifi II in UEFI boot mode

I recently upgraded my system by installing a new MB (MSI MPG Z790 Carbon Wifi II) and new CPU (i9-12900KF). After installing the new components, I flashed the BIOS to the latest version (7D89vA6) using MSI's M-Flash utility. I'm running Win10 and discovered the drivers provided for the onboard Wifi only work under Win11 so I set my sights on upgrading my OS.

I went into the BIOS and tried changing the boot mode from CSM to UEFI. During start, before the OS loads, I get the following error, "There is no GOP (Graphics Output Protocol) support detected in this card. 'BIOS CSM/UEFI Mode' settings in BIOS will be changed to 'CSM'.

I chatted with live NVIDIA tech support. They had me run a utility that showed them my video firmware settings and also had me run msinf32 and share the results with them. They said everything looked good and that UEFI boot should work and it must be an MSI problem. I double checked with them asking, "So, the Quadro K2000 is supposed to run under UEFI?" To which they answered, "yes." And I asked, "so, is there any way to flash an updated vBIOS to that card?" To which they answered, "no."

I then chatted with live MSI tech support. Right off the bat, they were unhappy with my trying to use a video card that was more than 10 years old. I let them know that I'd actually only purchased it a few months ago (i.e. they're still being actively sold!) and that the card is spec'd to run under UEFI. When they found out that I'd already flashed my BIOS to the latest firmware version, they were done with me and said it was an NVIDIA problem.

So! Now I'm here hoping somebody with a few "outside the box" neurons still firing might be able to help me. Any thoughts on what I might try to avoid having to buy a new video card?
