Hello everyone,
I post here as a last resort. I purchased a used Quadro P2000 graphics card to use for video transcoding with Plex. So far so good, I plug it in, the card is well recognized and functional but once I switch my current system (with IGPU) to this graphics card only, my system would crash at boot time when the card is connected to a display in DisplayPort. So I applied the firmware update recommended by nvidia for this problem (https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/...e-to-support-new-displayport-displays.244919/). The update applies well but at reboot, blue screen systematic until I switch back to the IGPU.

Now, when I launch GPU-Z, I end up with the following informations.

I'm attaching the picture of the graphics card with all the stickers mentioning the references because I can't clearly identify which OEM is behind it. The vendor told me that the card came from an HP Z4 workstation but I have a doubt.

Could someone help me flash this card to make it work again? Materially, it looks OK (unless the update really killed something).

Thank you very much for your time and your help

And sorry in advance for my bad English, I am French.

Hello StefanM,

Thank you for your response. I tried to flash using the file you provided me, without result.
Here is the result of the command :
Code:
NVIDIA Firmware Update Utility
Version 5.595.0
Copyright (C) 2018-2019, NVIDIA Corporation. All rights reserved.

The display may go *BLANK* on and off for up to 6 seconds
or more during access to the EEPROM depending on your display
adapter and output device, it will begin in about 3 seconds.

No display adapters were found that are compatible with this update.

Press any key to exit...

However, NVFlash tells me that the graphics card is present.
Code:
c:\flash>nvflash --list
NVIDIA Firmware Update Utility (Version 5.670.0)
Copyright (C) 1993-2020, NVIDIA Corporation. All rights reserved.

NVIDIA display adapters present in system:
<0> Quadro P2000 (10DE,1C30,10DE,11B3) S:00,B:01,D:00,F:00
Are there any specific NVFlash commands to use to try to diagnose the problem? I searched HP's executable for the BIOS update ROM file but I can't find which file is flashed when I run the process. I would have liked to try with a more recent version of NVFlash. On a sticker of the card, it is noted "FRU: 00FC965 907", after googling this, I find references related to Lenovo and not to HP, that's why I doubt that this card is from an HP Z4 workstation as the vendor says.

Also, when I flash the card with this non OEM BIOS (https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/200435/200435) and, just before rebooting the machine as NVFlash indicates, GPU-Z tells me the following, which could indicate that something is being written to the EEPROM but, after rebooting, it is as if it disappears (as on the first screenshot provided).

Any error message in device manager like "code 43" ?
If so deactivate device, then activate device, then check with GPU-Z

The device manager gives me an error 31 : "This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

The driver that tries to start is not the same as the video card driver in POST mode".

I uninstalled the nvidia driver because I can no longer start my server when it is installed (BSOD) and since the flash problem occurred.
