Quadro P2200 fan not working...

HI all,

for some reason my fan has stopped working on my Quadro P2200, I removed the drivers and did a clean install.

Running windows 10 and card is working, not just the fan, right now I am using two 120mm fans with case open.

hwinfo shows no fan speed, but gpuz shows fan speed 59%?

This is my 2nd fan now, could something be wrong with the card? and how would i check?

It sounds like the fan controller on your card is kaput or on its way to being kaput.

Not a lot you can do apart from either replacing the card entirely, looking for an after market cooler or strapping a fan on with cable ties and running it from a MB fan header or sata/molex to 3-pin fan connector.

@FreedomEclipse Do you know if this adapter would work? I dont have the room to add a 80mm fan but If I could find a way to power the stock gpu fan instead would be great.

it will do but you might have to play about in your MB Bios to set fan speed otherwise it will run too fast or too slow.
