While USB 3.2 Gen 2 10 Gbps connectivity is widely available on modern motherboards, there are plenty of scenarios where the theoretical 1.25 GB/s transfer speeds are insufficient. The SilverStone ECU06 and ECU07 provide USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interfaces capable of 20 Gbps or 2.5 GB/s, thus allowing for an easy upgrade path as long as a PCIe 3.0 x4 expansion slot is present.

Why would anyone buy this expansion card that offers either a single external or internal connection, surely there are solutions that offer more than one connector?

"But both the ECU06 and 07 use longer-lasting, higher-quality solid polymer capacitor while the cheapest alternatives stick with the cheaper electrolytic kind, which speaks to the quality of component used."

There's only one cap on there that isn't a surface mount ceramic cap. Not trying to be an arse, but while that's normally true, it doesn't mean a whole lot when they've only got one non-ceramic cap on the board.

I only just upgraded to have a 10Gb NVME enclosure yesterday for my old intel 6000P NVME, and thought the 950MB/s reads gave me bragging rights

I'll just throw it in with the floppy disks now

Why would anyone buy this expansion card that offers either a single external or internal connection, surely there are solutions that offer more than one connector?
I dont think those exist with 20Gb ports, the bandwidth these need is hiiiiigh

The cards with SATA power should allow (the cards may not, regardless) fast charging support for USB-C devices, like the oculus quest or smartphones (or even laptops, depending on supported standards)

Most people don't know that Usb 3.2 gen 2x2 and TB3 have similar data bandwidth.

Because editing high bit-rate uncompressed 4k video needs a lot of bandwidth when using V90 SD cards. I'm not greedy one connector will do for now.
