RAM not working on it's max potential

2x16 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO SL CL18-22-22-22-43

When I overclock it with D.C.O.P profile - PC crash
When I overclock it manually with 3600mhz +1.3500v - it works but on CL26-big number-big number-big number-
When I set it to 1.29500v with 3533mhz it works on CL-18
Same for 3400mhz with 1.29500v - it works.
Whenever I OC it to more than 1.2950v with the designed CL speeds no matter the Mhz it crash.

Am I doing something wrong ? The ram is rated for 3600mhz CL-18 at 1.35v , at least thats what it says on the sticker. It's couple of months since purchase and never bothered with overclocking it, but days ago I noticed that it is working on CL26. and started getting interested why is that
I need to take the most out of it juice because I heard that 5800X3D loves higher mhz

That… is literally the opposite of the truth though? Zen likes (and always did) lower timings. And even then, the X3D chips are less sensitive to memory than their regular counterparts due to their massive cache.

I am getting more and more confused now What should I aim for? Doesn't my ram needs to be running at it's described speed without any problem ?

This is odd, you have a 3600CL18 kit and its running at 3534 CL20? Something is seriously wrong. Idk how you even get that number.... Reset BIOS and try again.

3600 with CL18 can be a crapshoot on Zen 3 and entirely depends on having a good sample. Some can do even CL14. Some are absolute golden samples and can go even further. Some will shit the bed. 3200 with decent primary timings is usually recommended as a “sweet spot”.
But yeah, as @ir_cow says, what your ZT screenshot shows is abnormal. Unless that’s your manual settings?

I'm guessing this is some low grade Micron E-die. First CLEAR CMOS. Then you'll need to set these parameters manually in the BIOS. Set DRAM Voltage to 1.35v, RAM Frequency to 1600MHz (3200MT/s). Primary timings to 16-20-20-20. F10, and enjoy your computer.

I tried settings them manual now , previous screenshot was also manual but forgot to set manual timings.I am not really into this and I am scared to touch them

This 100%. Those ICs and that AMD IMCs are not friends. My kid would work and randomly restart every 3 days on the R5 3600.

RAM would. The trick is the CPU and motherboard which support non-JEDEC speeds in overclocking mode (i.e. it will or will not work, at random).

These settings didn't worked too... I couldn't even boot. Now it's on AUTO voltage with 3200mhz and 1600 FCLK and 18-22-22-22-42 timings. I thing I will set it to 3466mhz 1.29500v as it was the last couple of days.It never did any problem but I also don't want to use it on CL26

Those timings are fine if it works. The X3D CPUs are much less sensitive to RAM anyway.

I've had some very bad Micron E, but also some very good Micron E. Same with Samsung B die and Hynix. However I'm yet to see a Vengeance kit work correctly out of the box on AM4.
