Hi.

I've been trying to flash a higher Vbios for my laptop but I couldn't make it happen. I've tried OMGVFLASH, nvflashk but "protectoff" is not working. If I try directly flashin it says "nvflash set eeprom protecction lock failed".
When I use normal nvflash app from techpowerup, it says "No Nvidia Display Adapter found."
Is it about cfg lock or something else? I didn't change any cfg lock settings. I also read that people on reddit made it happen but they didn't answer my question :/

My specs:
Intel i7 12800H
RTX 3080ti 105w

What is the purpose for the vbios flash? Why are wanting to flash it?

If your laptop isn’t broken, don’t fix it, and enjoy.

A site and forum dedicated to modding and this is the best answers they have. NVflashk is the one you are giong to use and its a -f or -6 to get it to flash. Back up your current vbios first and make sure you are plugged in and have the dGPU enabled but not the active display. Seems most people have had good success with the 130w version.

I am using a 2024 G14 4070 flashed to 105 from 90w stock, the two guys above me are clutching their pearls very hard I am not running it the way Asus intended.
