Hi,

I'm looking to buy an adequate cooler for the Ryzen 7 5700X.
I don't really have a budget, but I prefer getting a good bang for buck than the lowest possible temps.

In the summer we often get 35 degrees, however I do have AC so that wouldn't be room temp.
The room itself has a window but isn't great on air circulation, so perhaps it's worth getting something on the beefier side (dual fan?).

I'm focused only on air coolers, as my old (2016-ish) Sharkoon case does not support top / bottom radiator (AFAIK).
I don't think I'll be overclocking the CPU, but I might enable Precision Boost Overdrive.

Any recommendations out there? I buy from local retailers or from Amazon.
I've set my eyes on a 2nd hand Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 Evo, but I'm not sure the buyer is serious.
Update: seems like my case won't fit it (CPU cooler max height: 15.5 cm - vs 15.7 ;_;).

Other specs:
Motherboard: Asus B450
GPU: Asrock Arc A750
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 2x8GB 3200Mhz DDR4 (height for clearance: 42 mm / 1.65 inch).
CASE: Sharkoon Vaya: https://en.sharkoon.com/product/11728

Any tips regarding benchmarks available online will also be appreciated. 1st time heavier CPU cooler fan I'm buying.

Thanks in advance!

Maybe it is useful to provide the exact case name since max cooler height depends on that.

This is new:

15.5 cm so max your case can technically support

Should cost around €50 and fans alone cost about €30 at retail. Comes with quality fans that can reach 2000 rpm easily but stay silent up to around 50% speed.

You could look for something smaller but:
- it's air cooling, in the end you will still be limited by the room temperature but since you have AC it shouldn't be an issue
- your CPU TDP is 65W so you should be fine anyway,
- you can always apply Curve Optimizer to lower the temps.

When I had 5800X I used Dark Rock 4 (non-pro) and it managed just fine so anything solid with one tower should also serve you well.
