Apparently some customers have received counterfeited intel i7 920 cpus from Newegg!!
The description printed on the box of the product had some spelling errors on it and had came with a fake factory sealed sticker. The manual which came with the product was blank...and the stock cpu fan..(well I don't know how to describe it).
Newegg has replied to Hardocp that its supplier IPEX had sent the fake goods and are now terminating their relations with them. Affected customers will now receive a replacement product.
