ROCCAT reinforces its unwavering commitment to professional gaming by sponsoring the ASUS ROG DreamLeague, which starts today. Six of the world's best Dota 2 teams have been invited by DreamHack and TV6 to fight in the ultimate battle for their share of the cool $50K in prize money. The online league kicks off today and is followed by live games during this year's DreamHack Winter, which takes place in Jönköping from November 28th to December 1st.

ROCCAT founder and CEO René Korte comments: "ROCCAT is a company comprised of people with their roots in eSports, so we are very passionate about competitive gaming. The DreamLeague is exactly what fans out there want to see: the best teams, lots of gaming action and epic plays. This is where we want to be with ROCCAT and with sponsorships like this we hope to help professional gaming grow even bigger than it already is today."

All games from the league will be broadcasted from the DreamHack Studio via Twitch. The games will be casted by James "2GD" Harding and Toby "TobiWan" Dawson, amongst others. TV6 will show the online matches on their portals TV6 Play and TV6.se, while the LAN finals will be broadcasted live on TV6 channel.

There are already plans of a second season which will feature twelve teams and a prize pool of $100K.

Teams:
  • Alliance
  • Evil Geniuses
  • Team Liquid
  • Fnatic
  • Virtus.Pro
  • Na'Vi
