Ryzen 7600x with 2x8GB and 1x16GB is it possible to run?

I have a nonstandard ram configuration 1x16gb on one channel and 2x8gb on the second channel and was wondering if at least 5200mhz with docp timings could work for me since as of now it will crash windows everytime i load into it. And it seems to be stable at bear minimum default motherboard settings at 3600mhz LOL. (Hynix memory on 2x8 and micron on the 1x16 both are A-die both kits are rated for 5200mhz)

Well... Since you already gave the answer, I'd say no

Even putting the same 8GiB-sticks times four can or cannot work at the specified XMP/EXPO-speeds. So you might get this to 4000 (or 4400) with high timings and a lot of voltage, but I wouldn't call this config a good idea in general.

Problem with running more than 2 sticks are the stress on the mem controller (Memory controller) in the cpu, it's more stressful for it to run 4sticks than 2sticks and running EXPO (the memory profile of your ram).

It gives a boost running dual channel over single channel but if you do it over a short period of time lets say you can only afford 1x16GB or 2x8GB now than personally I would take 1x16GB and upgrade later if you can find the same/identical ram stick to the one you already have it should make running EXPO easier without much effort but it's always recommended to buy a kit with the stick you need for best compatibility.

Remember EXPO or XMP or DOCP or whatever the memory tweaked settings are called is still an overclock and have to be validated to make sure it's stable.

Ye, I kinda figured that out. I already ordered another 1x16GB stick.

even if ignoring AMP tweaks, running mixed chips is the problem.
amds never liked running different dies, so short of using jedec settings and testing with TM5/HCI, to confirm its stable, i wouldnt, 2x8 is enough for gaming anyway, and still allows for dual channel config.

Nah 2x8 is insufficient for many games at this point.

Even 2x16 runs into issues in certain games.

Read your motherboard manual to know what set of slots are channel a/0
and the others are channel b/1 etc

not really making a difference, unless you know its identical dies.
many brands will switch between brands/tiers, one major reason i would always recommend to get a kit, unless its intel or sticks known to have specific chips.

You can see it on the SN. For example, my ballistix sticks have 1R and 2R versions. Since I already had (unknowingly) bought two 1R, I wanted two more 1R for dual-channel. That was decipherable via the serial number. Should be possible here too with some research.

doesnt mean much, unless you remove the heatsinks and look at the actual dies.
part of the reason why ppl "hate" corsair is the fact they are one of the brands swapping dies as they wish, with sticks having identical specs/model nbrs, but using different chips or even different brands, making it troublesome to go past jedec on amd cpus.

even on those using (samsung) b-die (or equivalent), you will still have different tiers/different characteristics, and you will have a hard time matching 2 kits (for 4 sticks), as some dies will like clocks vs timings.

there is a reason why virtually all brands test/sell kits with multiple sticks, and its not just to make the purchase easier..
