Ryzen CPU temp.

Okay it probably been talked to death, but I tried searching and can't seem get learnt bout it so here goes.
What is the safe max temp of a Ryzen 7 CPU? I can get mine to 70+ CPU package and wow that seems roasting hot!

90c is when it starts to throttle below base clock at least on my 5900X

I'd say up to about 90 °C is safe on a Ryzen 3000/5000 or Intel Core 10/11th gen CPU. Around (or below) 80 is best practice.

Okay sweet thank you oh just one more dumb question.
There a only 2 temp readings I can get one says CPU the other CPU Package and wow does that one shoot right up there 75-80c it seems a bit high, But still well within parameters.

Yep, @trickson , that is about what my 3700X was running while crunching on World Community Grid.

I kind of freaked out as well. I think I posted in the WCG thread about the temp running 70+C and everyone that responded told me not to be all that concerned.

95 apparently no shut down?! And not overclocked either, it just downclocked..
