Sapphire Nitro+ Vapor 7900 XTX RGB Bar not working

Wondering of someone could somehow help me out.

I'm having issues with my GPU. It's RGB bars stopped working. They worked perfectly fine until I wanted to swap colors or set Trixx to work from an external source like MSI Mystic Light or SignalRGB RGB controller software. I've since uninstalled every RGB controller software.

So far, I've tried the following troubleshooting:

• Uninstalled all RGB controller software.
• Uninstalled AMD Adrenalin software
• Uninstalled AMD Chipset driver
• Unplugged and plugged the GPU back on the same motherboard.
• Unplugged and plugged the GPU on a different computer.
• Shorted JT1 header
• Cleared CMOS
• Restored optimal defaults in BIOS
• Updated Led Firmware.
• Fresh Windows 11 install on an empty SSD
• Fresh AMD Adrenalin Driver
• Fresh Trixx 9.0 install.
  
  So far I'm in a tech support ticket with Sapphire and they've also told me to contact Althon Micro.

The issue with the GPU is only regarding the RGB bars. Gaming performance and everything else is as it should. I recorded the following video once I reinstalled windows and the GPU driver and Trixx 9.0:

Personally I would never RMA a card because the RGB lighting stopped working. There's a reasonable chance that the card you will get back is a stinker of a sample, or may potentially have issues that your present hardware does not. Instead of that - I'd leave it as is and then eventually just get some upgraded cooling for it. Invest in a water block, man!

Not everyone is you though, its not working as advertised.

but is CSM off? Some BIOS support dual config. In my experience CSM must be explicitly set to disabled.

Sure, but it's fluff. If it's just the RGB leds, you can always activate the warranty closer to its expiry date anyway.

In a lot of cases the companies won't extent your warranty on the product you get back.

Companies have their way of transferring the remaining guarantee to the replacement product they send you back.

It would be something else if you could purchase warranty extension.

I mean bottom line is that a 1000 bucks card isn't working right and so far other 4 people have reached out to me with the same problem. Maybe it's just cosmetic and won't hit the performance of the card but it is still defective and within warranty so I might aswell just apply for it.

The other day I turned the PC on and the GPU's bar lit up almost completely. Still stuck on one color and looking washed out in the middle and wouldn't react to any changes I made in the software. Next time I turned it on the bar didin't light up at all.

True, if your card isn't bad, you could maybe request of the RMA department another complete cooling assembly with the shroud and lightbars, they would probably ship you a replacement with no downtime. The downtime is what sucks, man.

You can try to uninstall the Sapphire software and give OpenRGB a try.

Just throwing this out there (and apologize if it was brought up above and I didn't catch it), but are you using the three pin cable to connect the GPU to the MB for ARGB control? If so, is there any difference when connected/disconnected? And is it connected to a compatible port on the MB? There's usually two different types.
