Sapphire pulse RX 7900 xt start up issues

Hi I have been having problems at start up windows 11 sometimes I get a garbled multicolour strip on a black background Sometimes it will boot to desktop & freeze, sometimes it will not recognise Adrenalin software.
After 2 or 3 restarts it will run fine all day. Anybody else getting these issues & have you found a solution any help would be greatly appreciated.

tried a clean driver installation with DDU?

Have you swapped video cables? Tried a different monitor.

Provide full and detailed specifications of your computer please. While you are on desktop get hwinfo64 load sensors only and get a screenshot of power supply volts and gpu volts

on AMD (and you system has never installed nvidia drivers) just uninstall the amd Graphics software in the Win11 remove programs and apps… then install the new driver. (24.7.1 is not good for Black Myth:wukong. IMO, you MUST go back to 24.5.1 for it to run.). when 24.8.1 is out, perhaps that will fix the problems… but i digress.

in any case, make sure your 7900xt is level… problems have been solved by making Sure your graphs card is level.

AMD has a specific hotfix driver for BM Wukong since day one and with that it works flawless.

Parallel with the top and lower edge of the motherboard, sometimes the motherbord is not properly aligned in the case.

i did not know that. 24.5.1 works. and the 24.7.1 stalled and stopped the game… went www surfing and used reddit advice…

(will try the hotfix, 24.7.1 reports a but more stats in the overlay…)

I have the Pulse 7900XTX. Bought it NIB on another forum for $610 shipped :pimp:

It has been rock solid stable. I am currently on the 24.10.37.4 betas and so far so good for my use. When I first installed it, it was picky about HDMI cables for my TV connection. It did not like the 18Gbps Monoprice, but works perfect with Amazon Basics 48Gbps.

I presume you have everything in order like ample wattage and quality PSU with no dodgy cable extenders. Latest mainboard bios and chipset drivers. Nuked the GPU drivers with DDU and started fresh. Tried a different DP cable and or different port on the card. Checked that the fans are spinning up properly etc.

Black Myth Wukong does no longer crash wit 24.8.1 as well. Hotfix is no longer needed.

Can you please provide details of your system?
The more the better.
Write them in your profile and make them visible to all users.
Without knowing your system in details trying to find a solution is like shooting in dark.

Cold boot issues are usually power related.

Booted this morning got regular MSI logo then black screen with two horizontal strips of distorted colours one at the top one at the bottom of the screen. Restarted and it has worked perfectly for 2 hours
