Hi there,

First i want to say hallo for everyone, and apologize me - english is not my native language as you can see i make a lot of mistakes, etc. So to the point:

I buy from second hand a graphic card from thread and previous owner changed BIOS to the Sapphire RX 5700 Pulse XT (i mean "normal" pulse xt version without BE). That's the reason why i have problems with this card now - sometimes crashing system, restart PC and so on. If it is possible can you share with me a correct bios version? Thank you in advance. Best regards, Łukasz.

Provide complete detailed computer specs of parts to include exact model of power supply and get hwinfo64, load up with sensors only and screenshot temperature and voltages going to motherboard and graphics card.

What thread are you talking about?

E426 matches in the gpu-z screenshot and the pn/sku sticker.

Have you changed the thermal compound and pads?

The 5700 XT is a 2560 Core/shader card but yours only reports 2304 which is a what a 5700 has, matching your pic of the card's edge. Make sure you get the right 5700 (NOT XT) BE version BIOS before trying to flash anything.

Ots been crossflashed so this is correct, it needs to be dropped back for stability testing to 5700 spec

Thank for your answear ;)

I bought this card with changed BIOS. I have some problems with this card, that's the reason why i want to change BIOS to correct - i mean BIOS for Sapphire RX 5700 Pulse BE (not XT)

Maybe am i wrong but i think only one thing which i need is ask somebody for upload/share correct bios with me. If am i right i need stable, original bios without any modifications to try flash it. If somebody have same graphic card like my please share this bios on this thread or upload to vbios database. Just for remind: i have gpu Sapphire RX 5700 Pulse version BE. If i'm thinking wrong please inform me about it. Best regards

I suggest you change the thermal compound.

Thank you for help.

I saw these vbios in database but i don't tried flash with it becouse in description all of that vbioses is not any information about BE version. Sapphire makes two Edition of this card: Pulse and Pulse BE.

Which producer are the best in thermal compound?

Isn't the BE version of the Pulse the same card, only with blacked out shroud and backplate?

No, both card has some differences. In My opinion the most important differences are "normal" Pulse have Dual BIOS, Pulse BE have single BIOS, and different power consumption.

The bios i provided are for BE cards, i know this because i compared your card's sku sticker from the sapphire site for clocks to the files here(1700/1750)

Please understand that the first link in my signature is to a flash guide for Navi and newer, and Vega and Older, I wrote the guide. I know what I am doing.

A BE is just a pulse with no bios switch.

Components and coolers are the same, just different binned chips.

Ok, now i'm think i know what i have to do. One thing which i'm not 100% sure is how to know which one of these bios which you attached in you post is correct. Or i just have to try one of these and then check stability? If not working good then next one and so on?

Thanks for that detail as the 5600 XT Pulse and Pulse BE have different coolers with the original having a big overkill cooler and the BE having a notably smaller but adequate cooler. The BE is almost identical to the 6600 XT Pulse cooler. The latter 2 which incidentally fit better in a lot more small cases.

Do you want our help or not!?
Use this 1 first

I just compared they all are the same by pn:

0x1002 0x731F 113-3E4260U-O4A

So E426 is what's on your pn/sku sticker, im pretty sure they are for BE cards.

Get the latest version of AMDVBFLASH/ATiFlash

https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ati-atiflash/

Then follow this:

For RX 5000-7000 Navi Series and I believe Vega Cards, maybe Fury...
AMDVBFLASH
Versions 3.31-5.0.567

Follow these steps carefully:

1. Open your "C:" drive in Windows, create a new folder, call it atiflash.

2. Extract the contents of amdvbflash_win_5.0.567.zip to the "C:\atiflash" folder (make sure everything is in C:\atiflash and not another folder)

3. Find the bios file you downloaded and rename the bios file to r5700.rom

4. Move your bios r5700.rom to the "C:\atiflash" folder

5.Open the directory/folder, double click AMDVBFlashDriverInstaller.exe and allow it to install
YOU MUST INSTALL THIS FOR AMDVBFLASH TO WORK, YOU CAN UNINSTALL IT USING THE EXACT SAME .EXE

6. Open the start menu, type cmd, when cmd.exe appears right click it and hit "Run as administrator"

7. At the command prompt type in cd\ and press enter until only C:\> is on the screen.

8. Type in cd/atiflash and press enter, you should see C:\atiflash>

9. At C:\atiflash> type in amdvbflash.exe -i to identify your card with a 0, 1, or 2

10. At the C:\atiflash> prompt type in
amdvbflash.exe -p 0 r5700.rom -fa -fp (or 1, 2)

(there is a space between amdvbflash.exe and -p, a space between -p and 0, a space between 0 and r5700.rom, a space between r5700.rom and -fa, and a space between -fa and -fp)

Press Enter.

Follow directions on screen and if flash is successful exit the command prompt and restart, windows should show up on monitor.

I flash vbios today at night. I did everything step by step according to your guide. GPU-Z still show RX 5700 XT, should be like that?

Unfortunelly graphic card still crashing system during playing a game or doing benchmark. Display turn off, PC still working, GPU fans working very fast and loud, restart button don't working. I must press and hold power on/off button then PC will switch off. I switch on PC again without any problems, bsod or error description.

The card has hardware damage and must be repaired, otherwise buy a Brand New In Box RX 6600XT or 6700XT

I suggest you change the thermal compound.
