Bought this used Sapphire RX580 8GB Special Edition (blue) and using amdvbflashWin utility tool with GPUZ.

The screenshot below from GPUZ

Device Manager no issues, the GPU shows up,

I tried using the amdvbflashWin utility tool and received an error message when trying to flash Sapphire.RX580.8192.171107.rom

Any assistance would be awesome,,,,

Remove the gpu heatsink and lets look at the ram chip info, also a Picture of the White Sticker on the side of the heatsink near the pcie blade is necessary

The memory chips producer can be identified : it is Micron.
But...the white sticker is not the right one.
That one should be on black plastic(in your case blue) near the PCIex connector.

Here you have the BIOS file that matches your Vendor ID, subID and memory producer:

Please read and follow the guide :

this was the tutorial that had the CLI forcing the rom to unlock

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
at CMD, type in this
CD \ which takes you to the C:\
then this is an example CD C:\AMDVBFLASH\AMDVBFLASH3.31
you are now in the folder where AMDVBFLASH.EXE is in

type in this C:\AMDVBFLASH\AMDVBFLASH3.31\amdvbflash -i
that will identify the GPU with the number 0 (ZERO), 1 etc should be the only one gpu.

then type in amdvbflash -unlockrom 0

then type in amdvbflash -p -fa -fp 0 biosname.rom
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

thanks very much for your assistance,,,, is greatly appreciated
