Hello
I'm a novice rx580 nitro+ 8GB owner.
I was doing overclocking today. Clearly, however, the clock did not go up despite the voltage margin.

I felt strange. So I looked for the rx580 BIOS.

Surprisingly, the product's official BIOS confirmed that there were two models with different TDP designs.

145 W, 180 W.
I'm using 145W BIOS.
(180W bios : https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/191262/sapphire-rx580-8192-170320)
(145W bios : https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/204138/sapphire-rx580-8192-180719-1)

Both are the official bios of Power Techup. 180W is the initial version, 145W is the next version.
In my opinion, the next version is probably the improved temperature and noise version.

Finally, can I use the 180W BIOS version?
I confirmed that both model numbers are the same.
Honestly, even the same design is too ironic for the difference in TDP.

I wish there was a bro who had the same trouble with me: )

Need complete systemspecs, gpu-z screenshot.

In GPU-Z click the, arrow next to uefi checkbox and attempt to upload bios to the VGA Bios Collection through the progrsm itself.

You may be prompted that the file is already in the Collection with a link, copy and paste it here.

@vandoorn please provide info asked for so that we may be able to help you, laughing doesn't get us anywhere

Thank you for your answer : )

first, I'm using a linked 145W BIOS already.
Because I bought a mining graphics card.
so I changed the bios. 145W

second, I'll attach a gpu-z screenshot.

I live in south korea(not north korea),
Sorry. I can't answer you right away.
The time difference with Texas ....

Once again, thank you for your answer :)

Are you overclocking that processor at all?

No, I don't overclock

The reason for overclocking the graphics card in the attached photo is very easy with Radeon software. ;-)

hey guys~
I'll tell you what I did.
First, i received a response from the Sapphire Support team that the 145W TDP was originally TDP.
but, there was no structural difference from the Nitro SE and I thought the 180W BIOS version worked.
I have programmed the 180W TDP BIOS and verified that it works.

As a result, 1 ~ 2˚, 200RPM, 10 clocks of high temperature and power.
There was a slight performance improvement and it did not change noticeably.
Thanks. good day !
