Scythe is set to release the latest iteration of its long running series of Kotetsu CPU coolers, the "Mark III." The Japanese cooling specialists have revised the compact heatsink design in order to maximize performance. A densely spaced array of 0.4 mm aluminium fins surrounds four 6 mm diameter copper heat pipes. These are connected to a large nickel-plated copper 40x40 mm base plate. Aesthetic improvements include a black top cover with a sleek looking anodized brushed metal finish.

The new generation Kaze Flex II 120 mm PWM fan completes the package. It boasts impressive technical capabilities, and is capable of operating between 200 - 1500RPM, with a maximum air flow of 67.62 CFM and 1.5 mmH2O of static pressure. Its highly optimized frame design and anti-vibration rubber padding allows for excellent air flow combined with low-noise operation. The High Precision FDB system ensures a long operating lifespan of up to 120,000 hours. Scythe's upgraded Retention System Ver. 5 allows for a wide range of compatible CPU socket types. The specification sheet lists the following: Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1151, 1156, 1200 & 1700. AMD AM4 & AM5. Scythe Kotetsu Mark III (Model-No. SCKTT-3000). Pricing and availability are to be confirmed.

they should have focused on getting scythe fuma 2 rev b back in stock, its been out of stock for several months now and is hands down the best cooler at 60 bucks. would have gladly bought it over my FC140 if it was in stock at the time I needed a cooler.

shame on them

I don't trust Deepcool as a company. gamersnexus cut open one of their heatpipes one time and found them to be a scam, and its true he rated the k620 well and said they have improved, but how you can be so sure a shady company caught once, doesn't "dilute" their supply chain with some good and some bad? and send tested good to reviewers?

thank you. no. I want Scythe.

i have already seen this before? it doesn't matter... like I said they could have made a good first wave of k620's, for the reviewers, then cheaped out like they did on the next batch. how can I trust a company after they lie once?

i'll stick with scythe, noctua, and thermaltake.

I've installed Deepcool and Thermalright air coolers for recent builds. Very happy with both.
Customer support for the former was awesome - they sent me a second 140mm PWM CPU fan for practically no cost.

It's difficult to buy Scythe products in my territory, unfortunately, it seems that supply chain issues are a factor.
