Currently been in self isolation for the past few weeks following government advice. I'm lucky enough that i can continue working as normal during these topsy-turvy times. Not only are people putting themselves i danger to work but others are losing jobs entirely is quite sad all round. There's an ambulance depo round the back of my house, you see them going all times of day and night got a huge amount of respect for everyone trying to help us and keep things going.

Anyway, Iv'e been trying to do various projects over the weekends and evenings to keep myself up beat about it all. Thought it would be fun to share some of my creations. There mostly furniture building of some or other fashion.

So the basis of most of these things is a shed load of left over wood from when i did an engine swap last year.

Built a gantry, a dolly, a board to work from (car was on gravel) and some mic' wood as chocks and things. Now that’s all over I'm glad I dismantled and kept all the wood so now i had a good supply of left-over materials.

Ill share some of the things Iv'e already created and got a few more in the pipeline. But for now here's some pictures of what i started out with, you can see the board in the background of the last one.

Sadly the donor engine was a dud and after a week of stripping the donor car and my car to bare cassis, swapping over entire wiring loom, entire interior and dash, entire engine i couldn't be bothered with it anymore so they went to the car park in the sky.

But it was fantastic fun, i do all the work on my cars but never anything of this scale and on my own.

Took shed loads of pictures during the entire thing, can share more if interested. Ill post up next some of the projects as mentioned this all this led to.

Also i realise this is in no way related to computing or anything. As such if its deemed not suitable please just say and ill take it down :)

It's great to have projects at a time like this and gives you something to aim for every morning. Great work there, mate.
I spent many a happy time at the Dusty Miller in Longwood. Happy days!
