Reminds me when SLI was in laptops. 5K+ for a laptop that didn't was outdated in 6 months.

$7200... wow. That is wild. This will probably be cheaper and better than that, I like what Eluktronics is doing with this 4090 laptop.

Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.

They're RTX 4070Ti laptops, with a lie for a name.
There's a tenuous case to be made for them being called 4080M, because they at least share silicon with a 4080, but the clocks and memory bandwidth are vastly inferior.
HUB reviewed one and the desktop 4090 is around 60% faster at 4K. Other resolutions are irrelevant because you're not buying a 4090 laptop to game at 1080p unless you're a certified moron.

"4090"

AKA 4080 with castrated memory (G6 vs G6X) and core clocks (1335 vs 2205).

~20% slower than a 4070 Ti.

$5356 in US Dollars.

And while 23.11mm (0.91 inch) thick - almost twice as thick as other laptops, it will still have overheating/throttling issues. :(

My advice - put that money towards a PC with a full size keyboard, mouse, surround sound speakers and a 27 inch monitor.
