These are my old smashed mice:

Pretty bad huh? Im using the one on the left but the one on the right was just smashed due to it would not stay connected to the wireless receiver. I need suggestion on GOOD, name brand, wireless mouse at or around $30-$40. Micro innovations, the mouse I just smashed, worked great for 2 years and the one Im using now, works great after smashing it, weird I know but its an off brand.

Oh and another thing, I CANT GAME!!!!!

Im not too worried about the resolution, but I might go back to wired just to see if I like it again. My last wired was a optical and it was so-so but Id like to try a laser. but I dont want to spend an arm and a leg just for the mouse.

hands down Logitech g7 i got mine through a steal of a deal on amazon a year or two ago for 15 bucks
$75 with $50 MIR

i have yet to have any problem with this mouse hell i can even use it in my front yard as it has no connection problems whatsoever.
un like some other mice who's connection gets weird when the batteries start to die this mouse works 100% the same on full charge or about to die to this day my batteries last about a week with about 10 hours of use a day and switching out the batteries takes like 5 seconds

and as far as durability ive dropped the thing off my desk more times then i can count and not a single chip dent crack or rattle and all the buttons work as well as the day i got it.

as far as the feet go as you can see from this picture most of the label has worn off but the feet don't seem to have degraded any and i use my wooden desk as a mousepad and it glides perfectly

i really cannot say enough about this mouse it is the only thing i have bought for my computer that i cant find anything to complain about besides the fact that i got one of the ugly green and silver ones and not the new sexy carbon fiber ones

Sry for huge pic but its needed to see the detail

I have an mx1000... great mouse, old tech, but good feel, and durable... I've thrown it against the wall... It still works.

I had to return mine to Logitech because it wouldn't charge correctly

They gave me a MX Revolution for it but I'd rather have the MX1000 any day...

Hm I guess you had a different issue than I did. The metal contacts on my mouse weren't connecting properly and I called up Logitech's excellent customer service and they kindly offered me the MX Revolution as the MX 1000's were discontinued

Compared to the MX 1000, it seems heavier, tends to skip around sometimes as the wireless reciever isn't in the charging base anymore, and the batteries die quicker. On my MX1000 I'd get at least 4-5 days out of the battery with heavy gaming, but the Revolution only lasts about 3 days without any gaming. I don't mind as I have a secondary Copperhead as my gaming mouse but it's still mildly annoying to have to charge it more often than the MX1000. The mouse does have its merits though; the free-spinning scroll wheel is awesome for pages like the Crazy picture thread, and the one-touch search button is also very convenient for the lazy people (like me :D ).

I've always liked that design, and from what I can tell, it performs pretty well for both daily use and gaming.

For non gaming mice but still decent quality for all applications Id go for something standard by either Logitech, MS or A4 Tech.

They make good mice at good prices if you shop around.
Id go for an optical wireless rather than a laser wireless too, as the battery probably drains alot less.

lol it was. Me in the morning=extremely bad mood. but I woke up to have my mouse batteries dead, ok so I changed them. still nothing, no connection to receiver. kept pushing the connection button and nothing. then it connected to only work for 5 seconds at least. then I tried to use the keyboard, nothing. Now I was like the Hulk, getting really mad and beating stuff around. Rebooted comp and keyboard works but no mouse. I hooked up the other smashed mouse and works great. took the other mouse to the foyer and smashed it, I still cant find all the pieces.

I do like that G7 Batou. How much they usually cost?
