What is right?
I have an AMD Athlon 1300 Tundrrbird.
But on the cpu it self and on many pages States that thos cpu where released in 2001, but on mine it says 199.
So what is it that I hav not figured out here?

It’s not the date of release on the chip itself. It’s either the copyright date - whether for branding, architecture, whatever - or a manufacturing date, which is plausible since Thunderbirds started releasing in 2000 (and, as such, could have 1999 as a manufacturing date) and the 1300 is just a binned lower frequency chip, from what I remember.

Edit: To clarify, this isn’t unusual. Zen 5 just came out, yet the IHS has 2023 markings.

In your sample the second code printed on the chip reads "AXIA 0129MPM". From my understanding, the first 2 digits "01" is the year 2001 and the second 2 digits "29" is the 29th week of the year. 29th week falls on July, actual release week/month can vary.

As Onasi has already informed - 1999 refers to the year in which the design was copyrighted. Essentially, the year the IP was protected with legal rights to reproduce/distribute/etc
