Hi, a while ago I bought an RX 5500 - 8GB, from the Soyo brand on Aliexpress, but there is always a moment when the screen freezes, and I have to do a forced restart and I get AMD: The default performance tuning settings were restored due to an unexpected system error. Is there a solution, because I am looking for the compatible rom to flash the graphics card, but I can't find it, has anyone been able to solve the problem? Help please

Please provide pictures of the PCB. Soyo is a brand which relabels other brands.

Which is insane, the "old" Soyo was a good motherboard manufacturer back in the day.

Its not a real Soyo card. Part number C56V00-8A178 is used by other brands as well (Alseye, Aisurix, Peladn, 51RISC, MLLSE)

I think one these bioses might work since they are used on multple brands like listed above:

I seen this often sells on local online shops, the specs is off for Navi 14, for starters it supposed to have 1408 shader, 88 TMU and 32 ROP but GPU-Z screenshot on first post tells otherwise.

Hi, I have the Soyo RX6600XT, one of the few around. I had the same issue, the card booted fine, then after you open a game (or Furmark) in less than a minute the PC was rebooting, despite the low temps (55°-65° hotspot). I solved the issue baking my GPU, after removing the cooler and the plastic connector for the fans, at 200°C for 10 minutes, than reapplied the thermal paste (SYY-157).
This was my solution, maybe you can try yourself.
Now my card stays at 80°C Hotspot with the fan at 39%, wich is perfect.

I think there's a problem with the cooler, wich by the way is from the Powercolor Fighter RX6600XT, that's not touching perfectly the GPU chipset, because for a month after changing thermal paste and pads tha card was perfectly fine. Nowdays I have to lower the power from 130 to 110W to pass the 5min time limit with Furmark.
I don't know if there can be anything else causing this issue, my power supply is fine and I changed recently the MoBo without solving anything.
Maybe I need to bake at 200 degrees in the oven.. I think as last attempt I'll do it..!
You assume you have the same issue while having a different card (RX5500XT != RX6600XT). Please make a new thread for support since we dont like thread hijacking as well.

Sorry, I was not asking for help, I just wanted to suggest a possible solution wich had worked for me. Best regards.
