Hi! I removed the diode, U30 and U33 (marked on the photos). I checked the resistances of all the capacitors and the resistances between GND and some elements. 17 shorted caps total. I want to recover my data. Donor SSD is on the way. I need your help because I don't have a clue what to check next.

I have a multimeter. I have no Drive Recovery Specialists here and I can't send my drive to anyone. I will fix it by myself but I can't fix it without your help.

Anyone who can work with those little components I consider as awesome. When it comes to SMD I'm like a bull in a china shop  Congrats on your result.

For anyone else trying this do note that a lot of capacitors may share the same power rail so if one has gone short then many others in circuit can show the same while being measured in circuit. If it's safe to apply power then it is usually possible to see the faulty one via FLIR or if like me you don't have such a device then by careful use of a finger, be careful not to get burnt.
