Ssd upgrade question

So, I have a pc used for games and heavy Photoshop, the motherboard know of pcie x3, now, my samsung 970pro don't have free space anymore, I want to sell it and buy a 2TB m2, beside samsung 980pro, any good alternatives(I need reliable most, than raw speed)?

keep your 970pro as the main drive
you can save some money by buying a sata ssd :) can go up to 4tb

but if you want to get a 2tb m.2 standard 980 is pretty good..

I wouldn't sell the one you have now, keep it and add more storage.
If SSD performance is an issue, having two drives can literally double that performance (Just by having temp files/scratch files on a different drive to where the end result is going)

You have two NVME slots, and then you can add extras in with cheap PCI-E NVME adaptors
You can add one of those to your bottom most PCI-E slot (which is x4) with no problems, and if you're willing add yet another to your second GPU slot at the price of your GPU slot dropping to x8 speed (and trust me, 8x 3.0 is enough for any GPU, even an RTX 3090)

So you know, you can run four of the buggers before needing to sell anything.

As for performance results etc... trust the TPU reviews. Prices vary really wildly around the world, so see which ones are cost effective where you are?

As money goes, I must sell 970pro to be able to get the 2tb...I already have a 2tb sata samsung 850pro, almost full too.
