Steel Shadows is the second game in a series called Ancient Frontier, an independently developed Sci-Fi strategy game by Fair Weather Studios. The game focuses more on the pirate side of space exploration and leans heavily towards fleet management as opposed to the empire management you'd usually see in games like Endless Space.

Developers, Publishers or PR reps approach me and ask me to cover their game. Most cases I say yes regardless of how big or small the title is unless I have a clash in schedule with another game.

Glad to see a review of this, but sad to see how the game turned out though. Think I'll stick to picking up WH40K: Mechanicus during the Steam Winter sale. :toast:

This game looks like it has potential if a few things were refined to good effect.
