SteelSeries Arctis 1 Gaming Headset

The SteelSeries Arctis 1 is the least expensive gaming headset in the entire Arctis lineup. Even though it doesn't quite match the quality of its brethren in some aspects, you're getting a lot of bang for your buck at $50.

I bought this headset for my kid, after having TWO mic's die on his Corsair HS50 set. I didn't even bother trying to exercise any warranty the second time, just done with Corsair.
So far so good on the Arctic 1. I offered to get him the Arctic 7 Wireless (what I've been using), but he didn't want to deal with any batteries ever dying on him.

Arctic one works pretty well with the Nintendo Switch too I'm guessing, I know he's played a few rounds of Fortnite with voice chat. No complaints so far.

We also burned through two sets of cheap Chinese headsets(~$15) from Amazon (they just slowly stop working, mics, cans, wires, etc). From here on out, Arctic 1 is my new baseline - I'll never buy anything cheaper/less.

SteeSeries is really doing great in the gaming headset department, I thoroughly enjoy reviewing their products ever since they launched the Arctis lineup.
