Yesterday I installed some windows updates, (I did not install any other software/drivers) needed to restart and about 45 minutes later it suddenly shut down itself, no blue screen, no overheating, just as if the power cord was pulled out without having a battery.
After this happened I did a system restore from before the updates, all went well, re-installed the updates and it did not shut down suddenly anymore. But what could be the cause of this?
I have been reading about this problem on the web, most say it's overheating but in my case it was not, I was just typing a message on facebook at the time it happened.
