I got to thinking that a lot of you guys are banned from playing some good games that have massive amounts of gore and mayhem involved. So I thought I might turn yall on to a game that wasn't to popular but will definitely sooth your need for the darker side of life. Check out the screenshots from below. They are from a game called Clive Barker's Jericho.
If you can run UT3 than you can run this.

Summery:A spectacular, creative, and unflinching realisation of a Clive Barker nightmare for next-gen console platforms and PC, Clive Barker’s Jericho is a new supernatural horror concept with story by the master mythmaker, novelist and filmmaker Clive Barker.

Jericho deals with the mysterious reappearance of a lost city in a remote desert. When a form of evil that goes right back to the dawn of days resurfaces from there, a Special Forces squad, trained in both conventional warfare and the arcane arts, is sent in. Their mission: Hunt down and destroy the evil that lurks at the heart of the city before it destroys humanity.

Jericho is designed as an action horror title that will up the stakes in visuals and phantasmagorical special effects. Mingling the darkest elements of Barker’s horror fiction and films with an ambitious, age-spanning story, aimed at mature gamers, fans of Clive Barker and horror fiction enthusiasts.

Play this game like you would watch an 80's horror flick. Don't expect much but have a blast doing it.

I quite enjoyed the demo, but soon forgot about it. I'll have a look for it, see if I can find it for £15 or less. UPDATE: £9.99 on play.com

Trust me man its fun. If I didn't have it for free on Gametap I would have paid 49.99 for it. Plus it was made by Codemasters.

It was a fun game with lots of good gore and a very evil feeling, more so then Doom 3 IMO. Had some issues with game play but the first patch fixed most.

Ok, so from now on if you ever "love" anything you will have to be sure point out its not in the "gay" way, otherwise we will all have to assume it is...

Clive Barker, HP Lovecraft and HR Geiger all need to colloborate on a game. Although I think HP lovecraft is dead (Yeah very dead, 1937)

Well Clive Barker is gay (not that I have a problem with it) but I'm not. If Giger and Barker ever got together we would have a MMO game of rotting penises that attack humanity from a distant planet.

By the way I love your taste in artists! :toast:

I believe it does. If I remember right it does say something about PhysX when you start the game.

I played this game a few months ago and it was very entertaining.
I read a few reviews of it and they made it sound like a bad game but it's one of the better "horror FPS" games I've played.
I like the way you "jump" from character to character to gain new abilities and weapons instead of carrying what seems to be an invisible backpack that carries a few hundred kilos of ammunition and firearms like in other FPS games.

Spoiler ahead:
The game ends in such a way that you'd think there'll be a follow-up but far as I've read there won't be one unfortunately... I hold my thumbs for it but doubt there will be one.
