Hi all!

We've been developing our YouTube channel and part of that is populating promotable links for Google. As such we are working on building out a merch store to help support the site. It's currently very bare-bones but are interested in your thoughts on what we should improve on, design/product suggestions, etc.

It's all working now, but let us know what you'd like to see.

Thanks!

I can only suggest checking the quality before selling it for apparel. All to often is cheap in quality and or inchy.

Not saying TPU has the same source as other Vtubers... Just I am weary of any apparel.

Is the t-shirt rubberized? Cafepress used to have the most wonderful inkjet printing for t-shirts but more recently they moved to rubberized which cracks.

The TechPowerUp logo might look great embroidered on a baseball cap (although I'd go for more vibrant colors).

Fair. I ordered a few, but I've used this service before and purposely choose higher quality shirts to avoid issues.

Id like to see some solid or clear vinyl stickers in various sizes with either the TPU logo or any of the current 'stickers' that we could peel off and stick on windowed side panels without having to use something like googone to get it off when we want to take them off - they just peel off and any sort of residue they leave behind can easily be wiped away with a damp cloth.

Also - Maybe strike up some sort of deal with ifixit with some of their tool kits - Give us something we can use on a daily basis and not just the usual cups, shirts and stuff.

Is the t-shirt rubberized?
Your talking about vinyl prints. After a few washes it will flake off. The worst is that home oven fastball stuff. It's like a powder that hardens with heat.

I worked in appeal print shop for a bit. You need the real inks and bake it at 250F. It's good for about 50 or so washes before it all comes off. Can't really do better. Screen printing hasn't changed in decades. There is now giant printers now for t-shirts, but they use UV ink to curve and isn't as durable as the old method.

Because it's one of the few places you can get a left handed screwdriver.

... I did.

But it says Thermalright on it, and it came with a Le Grand Macho RT.

You guys should sell TIM, pads, stuff like that..

Or a big coffee cup is always welcome.. like a double cup and a half or something..

I am interested in TPU case badges. Like we used to get in the early 2000s at various websites and OC forum sites and from HW vendors. Is this a thing?

I already added stickers, though those are fairly big and price really can't go lower. Maybe if I added them all together and they could be cut out? So you'd get 6 stickers on one sheet. Or were you more thinking of something else?

How about a Techpowerup really useful motherboard storage box. Something stackable that can comfortably fit an ATX size case for storage. ( internal dimensions 14" x 11" x 2.5", Clear )

Oh, I should have zoomed in, sry bout that.

6 on a sheet is a good idea actually.

Maybe some more complex designs? Skull and x-bones, maybe like a cpu/gpu die shot background or something?

This is probably just wishful thinking but how about a limited run TPU/InWin Special Edition case?

Should come with a custom TPU power button and some case changes to accommodate HDPLEX 250w PSU and some room for Optane.

This would make for a sweet compact ITX server. Some tubing holes would be nice for hooking up an external radiator/pump solution.

A low profile U.2 expansion card should be able to fit and extend to the back chamber.

This feels a lot like the beginnings of handing out tradeshow awards and less like streaming new game releases GPU/CPU testing.
I digress, this storefront looks a lot more like tradeshow trinkets than... fulfillment or identity.

With apologies to the half dozen people who would gladly pay international shipping and duties to drink coffee out of a TPU mug. Some balanced opinions leading away from the five most common 'print on demand' promotional items are warranted if this isn't just a box being checked and left to gather dust. Ideas that won't suddenly appear on the usual suspects stores overnight but still work well enough to be viable are a decent target to shoot for.

If available I would buy one of the mugs with a black background.

Would also buy a round coaster with the TPU button on it.

Are you TPU staff? as you dont have any kind of forum rank.

I need this. Insta buy

Same with a cap with that badge on it. Also, ToyPowerUp when? April Fools would be a good moment ;) Maybe a real product... :D Vibrator with 1 click OC button... Multi-Core-Enhancement out of the box? :p

Some other product ideas, somewhat closer to TPU roots:
GPU bracket/support
Stickers for your PC case (you know, those solid badge like stickers)
Ruler & PC repair mat
Mouse / KB mat

Generally speaking, I don't like merch (I see it as free advertising which I'm wholly against), but I wouldn't mind having a "Highly recommended" coffee mug or baseball cap. :D
