Out of curiosity: a few releases back, the release notes indicated that GPU-Z would support a to-be-released GTX 1060 based on the GP104 die. That was a few months ago, however i don''t recall having heard of any GP104 based 1060 being released in the wild. Did i miss it? When you add support to an unrealeased card, does the make pass you the data from the card (thus reckoning a future product exists), or do you guys just implement what you think will happen (thus, not having confirmation from the make)?

I see, so this GP104 based 1060 exists, it just hasn't been released officially yet, if i understand correctly. Thanks for the clarification, W1zzard.

Oh, ok, cool! The article mentioned "a few" critical updates, which is plural...but listed one. Please understand where the confusion came in. :)
