Hi all, I’m happily using a Tesla M40 as a gaming GPU.

I tried a few different cooler solutions including blower fans, 3d printed fan shrouds, etc. but ultimately settled on cutting the top of the heat sink off to open it up and then zip tied on three 80mm server grade fans.

it works OK but my problem is I need access to my other PCI-E slot and the current solution is too chonky. But it’s fairly quiet. Any blower solution I’ve tried screams loudly.

I see the nvidia reference titan X cooler should fit, but I am having trouble locating one for a reasonable price.

anyone have one they are trying to offload or know any other solution?

I always figured the FPI was too high on blower style heatsinks to work with axial fans because of their relatively low static pressure.
