TestMem5 broken?

So i have the latest build from Github and no matter what, it spits out one error after 1 hour and 30 Minutes (+ - 30 seconds)

7800X3D with a corsair A-Die EXPO Kit: 1h:30m 1 error
7800X3D with a Kingston kit: 1h:30m 1 error
9600X with both after 1h:30m 1 error
9900X with both after 1h:30m 1 error
9950X3D with both kits after 1h:30m 1 error
13700K with both kits on a Z790 Tomahawk after 1h:30m 1 error

three mainboards and a third RAM kit, rinse and repeat... all get 1 error after 1 hour and 30 minutes.

the Anta777 absolut preset seems to have a bug or i am stupid.

Are you sure your settings are 100% stable? (no offense / just curious)

I was just curious last time and i just changed one single value in uefi. Gaming stable in windows 11 pro 24h2. But libreoffice crashed while compiling on different points in the "source code" in the gnu userspace with the linux kernel. I also tried those fabulous window tests software. The fastest is the compiler to find issues for my previous am4 setup and my current am5 setup. Smaler pacakges do not show this effect while compiling.

these are all stock (jedec) or with expo/xmp only.

Have you tried an older TestMem5 build? I used v0.12 to validate successfully here (1usmus_v3, extreme1@anta777).

It is sensitive.. even bad CPU power settings can make it crash because it pushes core clocks so high.

I see 5650MHz average effective.. pretty crazy.

the original build was fine but this one is the only one that kicks the bucket at exactly 1 Hour and 30 Minutes on every existing PC i have with every combination.

no overclocks, no tweaks, no issues with any other software just this one with this specific preset.

Try another tester. I use and recommend PassMark’s MemTest86.

most are fresh installs on different systems.

Given the spread across multiple hardware and the consistency of the error indicates a likely an issue with the software or you have found an extreme corner case fail scenario. The TestMem5 devs might be interested in this kind of problem. You should submit a report to them. If possible test with an ECC RAM kit and see if there is a difference.
