Designed by Silex Powers, Valene Black Mamba is the firm's first electric vehicle, featuring in-hub electric motors that allows this high-performance vehicle go from 0 to 62 mph in less than 4.2 seconds.
Drivers will be able to choose from a range of power options, starting from the the entry-level 107bhp (80kW) to the insane 807bhp (600kW) flagship.
The entry-level can go 0 to 100km/h in less than 4.2 seconds.
Black Mamba comes with an all-electric drive train and all the electronic parts are located in the back.
There is an on-bard charging feature, a COMBO-2 connector, which accepts both AC and DC chargers.
But the firm understands plugging in isn’t always convenient and offers drivers three different battery packs to choose from upon purchase - 15kWh, 30kWh and 50kWh packages will be made available.
And the jet black vehicle has an autonomy that ranges from 180km all the way up to 500km on a single charge.
‘Thanks to our battery design, the user can fully charge the 50kWh battery pack in 1 hour using 50kW DC chargers, and the 15kWh battery pack in less than 15 minutes,’ explains Silex.
‘The Black Mamba will also be HyperCharging compatible, with charging times under 5 minutes for all battery sizes.’
The outside body is constructed of steel tubing, providing a protective shell around passengers.
And the seating places both the driver and passenger's legs far behind the front axel, reducing the chance of injury during a head-on collision.
Silex has opened up preorders, which are being take on the Valene Motors website.
The vehicle starts from € 35,000 ($39,315), however additional charges can be added with other features – such as the Clarion Full Digital system upgrade that is about € 3,000 ($3,369).
press release.
