they are most likely rebranded asrock or gigabyte, with a fancy plastic shroud slapped onto it

I think in all of my years on forums, I think I may have heard one person say something about them.. maybe two.

They must be ok.. not sure I would buy one though.. Well.. I cant locally anyways, never saw one in a store before, or even on Newegg.

They look cool.

I'm not going to foist an opinion, but I would suggest if considering one to go to their website and look at the forums, and look around for mention of them in other forums.

Big thing is going to be BIOS/AGESA updates and general support. This is *especially* true if you are contemplating a new platform (Zen 4 or Raptor Lake). I would fear a lack of support from a small newer player. See how they are supporting their older Z590 / X570 motherboards.

Aren't those mostly made by ECS and Asrock? AKA known manufacturers' boards with just fancy plastic coverings.

Though Asus did it better back in the day with Z77/Z87 Sabertooth ones.

The reason why I'm interested in NZXT motherboards with the Z690 shipset is that they have top-of-the-line sound chips.

I am not a sound aficionado, but you might want to take a look at this :
