This could put a stop for the dicussion if it should be the size of rice and pea, if it is any good that is.

It depends... It could be a holy grail for people who do not have such straight steady hands also and reduce any kind of risks involving about that. Pasting the socket lol.

My questions are how much reusable it really is? The manufacturer site tells it is. It would be a fine defacto if this is used for all heatsink benchmarks, as it excludes, how well it was pasted.

Also funny to see, that it is German, and TPU doesn't have a badge there at mf site... even French does have a review... :shadedshu:

I was hoping it would outperform the IC Diamond graphite pad at least. Sad to see that it doesn't. Not that I would ever use either. As they're barely as good as low/mid grade pastes.

Benchmarkreviews adressed this in detail in a classic article... turned out an actual frozen pea was about 3 times bigger but outside of the wayback machine, you can't find the site anymore.

they are late to the game, I bought Innovative Cooling graphene just last year, does same thing. /shrug

Years back I took one of my hot ruining graphics card apart. That manufacture did use a big pea worth of TIM. Yes I know that consensus is leaning towards small quantities but when the discussion pops up its general started by someone that should use a pad (can't get that wrong can you?), not traditional paste TIM.

I have a couple of them also, re-used one of them around 50 times and it's still fine. Works about as well as MX-2.

Graphite thermal pads are nothing new though, I have a couple Cooler Master Pentium II/III heatsink's that have them.

I remember them, but I thought they were just soaked with some silicone oxide and that's it.

Pretty much usable for testing and all round use then...

those were the old ones. the new ones are legit graphene. and yeah it works about as well as any paste outside of Conductonaut, but I will never risk Conductonaut ever again, once was enough for me. too much anxiety it gave me lol

I reccomend an assistant if your hands trouble you. If you have a brother, buy him lunch for a few application debts. Thank me later.

No, I earn my bread because I have steady hands. Actually if I remember correctly you had health issues and unfortunately hands are not the same as they were.

I am thinking more to use it while repairing things. Thus why re usability question.
