Thermaltake, the leading PC DIY premium brand for Cooling, Gaming Gear, and Enthusiast Memory solutions, is excited to announce a new member of the Thermaltake A Series chassis- the A700 Aluminium Tempered Glass Edition Full Tower Chassis. It features a sleek aluminium front panel, two 5 mm tempered glass panels, and two preinstalled 140 mm fans. The A700 TG has a built-in power supply cover for clean and easy cable management and also supports up to a standard E-ATX motherboard. Accommodating the latest PC hardware including the most advanced graphic cards and air/liquid cooling solutions, the A700 Aluminium TG incorporates vertical radiator & GPU mounts, Patented Rotational PCI-E slots, and the support for 200 mm fans. The A700 TG is a perfect fit for users who are looking for a feature-rich, modern, and stylish chassis.

Features of A700 Aluminium Tempered Glass Edition Full Tower Chassis:
Sleek Aluminium Design
The A700 Aluminium TG chassis is built to be sleek and minimal. The clean aluminium front and top panels hide the ample air intakes, and the power supply cover gives you plenty of space to route cables and clean up the build.

Excellent Dust Filtration
A handy magnetic fan filter on the top of the case, simply attaches for easy dust filtration and particulate protection. At the base of the chassis, additional fan filters provide excellent protection against both dirt and dust.

Tempered Glass Window
The A700 TG features aluminium panels created by high precision CNC digital cutting to ensure chassis security, while at the same time providing a futuristic gaming aesthetic. The aluminium anodizing process enables the panels to be both water and corrosive resistant as well. The aluminium casing utilizes CNC milling technology and was sandblasted to help shape the elegant and sleek curves. Two hinged swing-doors with premium-quality 5 mm thick tempered glass design guarantee window durability and viewing capability to encourage users to thoroughly display superb inner components.

Tool-Free Installation
The A700 TG comes with tool-free drive cages to provide easy installation/removal of backup drives. Fully maximize the interior space for highly customizable layouts, the A700 TG allows users to mount 3.5"/2.5" HDD inside and right side of the case.

Superior Hardware and Liquid Cooling Support
The A700 TG contains outstanding expandability options, allowing you to build the most high-end system you can dream of. It can support a CPU cooler with a maximum height of 200 mm, dual expansion slot GPUs of up to 410 mm in length (without a HDD rack), and a power supply with a length of up to 220 mm. Furthermore, the A700 TG has been optimized with excellent cooling capabilities, with one 140 mm exhaust front fan and one 140 mm rear fan, both coming pre-installed. The case is able to house up to three 140 mm or two 200 mm front fans, up to two 200 mm fans on top, and a radiator up to 360 mm on top and 420 mm at the front.

Handy I/O Ports
The top-front panel features two USB 3.0 ports, along with one Type-C and two standard USB 2.0 ports, to grant direct access when needed.

DMD: Dismantlable Modular Design
Strip your case down to the bones and install elements when and as you need them with our modular design. The A700 TG features modular panels, racks, brackets, and pre-design mounting arrays. No more unreachable screw corners or gaps, installation can be a breeze with our Dismantlable Modular Design.

hummm.... bugga-boo hinges them is, uh huh, yeppers, fo' shur :)

A solid but not distinctly different case, but at least it (finally) has USB-C on the front I/O....

If this is even remotely as well made as their other premium cases it's probably worth it, but I'm not sure many folks will be too thrilled about that price though o_O

I'd like someone to review it using an mITX build with integrated graphics and M.2 storage.

And exactly what purpose would that serve ?

Please explain why someone who is building an mitx rig would want or need a case big enough to hold an eatx mobo, unless of course they just enjoy wasting space and money....

Wow, a stamped steel case with fancy glass doors/side panels and aluminum cladding costs 400 bucks? The margin on that must be something. It does look nice but not at that price imo.

340 is way too much in the current case market. Around 200 would be a better fit for this. Wondering if anyone will pay that much for it rly.

That makes about as much sense as having a four car garage when you only drive a bicycle....

Seriously if these big case companies always copy from others, why not copy good micro-ITX cases. I'd really like a slim ITX case like Dr. Zaber Sentry or Skyreach 4 Mini that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Only mainstream manufacturer in that space is Silverstone but they're not available everywhere. Even then it's only one manufacturer.

This is aluminum... Lian Li!

130030

You can't imagine experience on touch. Cases are so light, smooth, perfect...
Every computer worth 2000$ deserve aluminum case, because steel is inferior material for PC case.

Best Classic Full Tower

Lian Li PC-O12 Newegg,
Discount from 350$ to 150$, this is at the moment best option for high end PC case. Price is unreal.

I own both a steel and aluminum case, I generally prefer the higher quality steel as it makes the case feel more premium and well constructed in my opinion.

I own both a steel and aluminum case, I generally prefer the higher quality steel as it makes the case feel more premium and well constructed in my opinion.

Steel used for PC cases is cheapest steel available on market used for toys, cheap parts for houses worth 10-20$.
That's not higher quality stainless steel. But anyway it's heavy. If planes are made from aluminum to keep strength and to be lighter then and PC case could be made.
It's much better on touch, but I talk about Lian Li, because their work is very precise. They have some specialized system of production cases different then other brands and you notice that in reality.
They use big aluminum sheets and probably have very experienced workers. And Taiwan is big difference from China.

This is best you can buy at the moment for high end hardware.
I will never pay any other cases then Lian Li. But every case need to be completely different approach.
Never similar PC case, I had conventional normal standard PC case, and now I have dual chamber with tempered glass, next will be something totally different.
90% of PC cases today you see traced of CM 690 in them.
Precise and quality of work between Lian Li worth 300$+ and this Thermaltake worh 330$ is two class above.

If you collect all scientists and ask them for best material for PC cases they will say Titanium or Aluminum.
Simply weight of quality and more expensive SS316L stainless steel inox is not worth because case need to be moved, cleaned, etc...
Most expensive kitchen pots and tool for cocking last years are from hard anodized aluminum, he have some characteristics better then stainless steel and some negative sides but depend of people.

It's a nice looking case, but are they oblivious? Phanteks just release the Enthoo Luxe 2 which is similar in almost all respects for half the price. If you put this AND the Luxe 2 at 189.99 I would struggle on which to choose, but 340 dollars? C'mon guys. Not a chance.
