Can't you select the page element and block it with Ublock Origin?

Right Click on message > Block Element > Create

Already tried that, no workie 4 me :(

Exactly what addons are you using? I'm on Windows 10 and Firefox (with the Ublock Origin, Facebook Container and Bitwarden addons) and I do not have this. Do you use a VPN?

Maybe the browser is refusing cookies too aggressively? Seems like the kind of setting that might get stored in a cookie.

I also have this box checked in Firefox, no idea if the website interacts with that at all--I'd suspect not but this is a tech forum so maaaybe.

Yes I use a VPN, and have the uBlockorigin, and Adguard Pro, but nothing else....

Yeah, if you delete the cookies then it will keep asking you

This is a big problem for a lot of users who set their browsers to completely delete cookies and LTSOs(site data) when we close our browser. This is a security setting. To be fair, I never see this notification request because such requests are actively blocked. However, this setting really should be stored in the user profile, not in browser cookies which are subject to frequent deletion.

which are subject to frequent deletion.
Every time the cookies are deleted you have to log in. This basically never happens for virtually all users except the ones that think they should prefer to clear cookies

XenForo says "as designed":

Register at XF and make your case, the more activity the more the devs will consider making a change

I do that anyway. I always log out when I close my browser. Then when coming back I log back in.
Why?

Done.

What do you mean?

Safety reasons. To stop showing myself among online when I'm actually not. I do it as well.

A jealous wife might be another reason.

Oh, I see. Always do, and with every website. It's a part of my computing ethic. No saved cookies, LTSOs, passwords, CCs or anything else that might be persistent. Whenever my browsers run, they start blank and fresh like they've just been run for the first time.
Same

partially same
i just have like 15 browser installs most of them for a singular purpose, some i have cookies & passwords for the few sites im a regular visitor of, the other browsers (for general browsing) are set to reset themselves on reboot

that way you get the best of both worlds

For me, it's a data and identity security thing. I refuse to store critical data in my browser cache. It's asking for someone to steal it with a carefully crafted set of scripts or other such schemes. Not at all worth the risk.

This is the same for me. Actually at this point with my job its almost a neccesity.
