Welcome to February, also known as the shortest month of the year. This week's AAA release brings you some open-world medieval knight action. The rest of the week is pretty low-key, kicking off with a rather odd action-puzzle game which is followed by a new take on the vampire genre. Up next is some musical combat, some more knights, although this time we're back in Camelot and the week is finished off with a paranormal point-and-click adventure.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II / This week's AAA release / Tuesday 4 February
Diving back into the heart-pounding world of 15th Century Bohemia (Central Europe), Kingdom Come: Deliverance II picks up where its predecessor left off, thrusting players into the shoes of Henry, the steadfast son of a blacksmith, embroiled in a tumultuous tale of vengeance, betrayal, and self-discovery. In this gripping sequel, players will traverse a meticulously crafted medieval landscape, from the humble confines of a blacksmith's forge to the grandeur of royal courts, all while navigating the treacherous currents of a kingdom torn apart by civil war. Steam Link

Spirit Swap: Lofi Beats to Match-3 To / Monday 3 February
Cast spells, be queer, and crash the biggest concert of the year! Spirit Swap is an action-puzzle meets narrative game set in a lush world of witchy demons. Steam Link

Blood Bar Tycoon / Tuesday 4 February
Blood Bar Tycoon is a vampire bar management game. Build bars and blood factories, lure humans to harvest their blood, process it, and serve your customers: other vampires. Research quirky machines and deal with hunters! Expand through Crimson City to become a mighty Elder. Steam Link

Rift of the NecroDancer / Wednesday 5 February
The NecroDancer's back in an all-new rhythm game! Dragged into a strange new world, Cadence must engage in musical combat with monsters surging through the Rift! Face pulse-pounding Rhythm Rifts where every beat is a battle, all set to an original soundtrack by Danny Baranowsky & friends. Steam Link

Sworn / Thursday 6 February / Early Access
Sworn is a 1-4 player co-op action rogue-like. Explore and reclaim a fallen Camelot from the reign of a corrupted Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. Play solo or unite with friends to stand off against the Knights of the Round Table. Combine the strengths of your characters in surprising ways and master abilities to become knights worthy of standing off against Arthur himself. Steam Link

Slender Threads / Friday 7 February
While wandering an unfamiliar town, Harvey Green follows a string of paranormal events to a grim realization: his recurring nightmare may foretell an inescapable fate. In this point-and-click thriller adventure, guide Harvey through the peculiar streets, shops, and surroundings of Villa Ventana as he seeks to prevent his visions from becoming reality. Steam Link

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is one of my most awaited games (right next to The Witcher 4). Although, I'm planning on a GPU upgrade soon, so I might as well wait with it to play in full detail later. :)

it has that same honestly about it as Baldurs Gate 3 from Larian has, just not completely taken over by corporate greed, still about developers (artists) wanting to do something because they think its cool.

Witcher 4.....well after Cyberpunk that company has lost a lot of its luster....

Yep. And the company is still passionate about making an accurate representation of the era the game is set in, instead of a politically correct one based on present-day values.

They chewed a bit more than they could swallow with Cyberpunk. They might have learned from it. We'll see.

Slender thread and Blood bar tycoon look interesting.

Edit: Not sure how many will remember Evil Genius that came nearly 20 years ago, Blood bar tycoon falls into similar category of games.
