for some reason I noticed some of my apps won't launch today. I didn't do an update recently, didn't install a new app, didn't make any changes to my machine at all. Earlier today google chrome browser wouldn't launch at all. (first time in many years) I proceeded to re-installing it and now the app works fine.
But now I noticed that my discord app won't launch at all, and my "signal" app either (chat program).
Many other programs do work fine though. After noticing the problem I did a system restore (Back to 5 days ago when there were no issues) but it didn't fix the problem entirely. Now obviously, I suppose I could just re-install every app that has this issue. But I'd like to understand HOW and WHY this problem arose
I should also mention I noticed some weird behaviour from my mouse as well. When I want to hold my left click button to drag a window or resize a window, it's as if my left mouse button "hold" gets interrupted and I stop dragging the window halfway. same for resizing. Those are all weird symptoms my pc has started showing today.
At first I thought it might be my mouse, but its a good mouse and I never had issues with it until today. In some ways, it almost feels like there's a virus or something interrupting some system functions. I did a quick scan earlier but found nothing, I'll run a full scan now. Its so weird. I'll look at my error logs/system logs. I'm not a huge pro navigating those, but I'll try to see If I notice something there
