TPU's Rosetta Milestones and Daily Pie Thread

Well well, here we are again with our Rosetta Pie Stats update, here we go for the 28th February 2025 update!!

Well there we are for a nice two day update!! @xrobwx71 and @mstenholm leading the way there with amazing scores! Great work guys, that's outstanding efforts!! I've switched 'off' one of my 5900X's for Rosetta as I'm trying to get another set of work done and then I can start back on Rosetta a little more... The trouble with so many ones to contribute to and not enough power or sun in the day to make it happen! Still, we are trying our best....
Speaking of which, the server stats is I think, crying out as everyone is trying their best!! Here we go....

Just over 1.2 million work jobs queued up for us to do so, I guess we'd best start cracking!! I think that WCG seems a little slower for some reason, points seem quite down, that maybe Rosetta might be peoples choice for a bit.... We'll see!!
Hopefully get to see you all again tomorrow for another update!! Take care everyone!!

Here we are again with the Rosetta Pie Stats update, here's the one for the 1st March 2025!!

And there we have another great day's contribution!! Outstanding effort everyone, well done!! I'm hoping that everyone is doing well and has had a good Saturday so far at this point! It seems that the server stats has definitely taken a load off from yesterdays 1.2 million jobs down to say for easy maths as its still early when I'm typing this, 900,000, that's a little more than most days I think.... @mstenholm @Toothless @xrobwx71 @SmookinJoe what you guys upto?!?!?! Either ways, here's the server stats for everyone

Makes me think we might have a few days left but I'm not sure as tomorrow might be down to 500,000!! We'll see but as always everyone, please keep up the amazing work and effort, hope to see you back again real soon!!

Well here we are Rosette Pie Stats, here we are coming for another update!! Here's the stats for the 2nd March 2025!!

And there we are for another amazing update for Rosetta!! I'm enjoying this a lot!! Great work everyone, great support today, there's another 9 member contribution today as well, amazing!! Now, lets see what sort of stats the server stats is in.... But before we do the server stats, time for a little milestone and stoner update I think first!!

Well there we go!! A little better actually than I was expecting but that's not a bad thing!! I hope that everyone is doing well and is OK?? We seem to have a few more jobs left than I was expecting, grab away everyone!!

And there we are, another great days effort and work from TPU!! Outstanding stuff!! I hope everyone is doing well and is OK?? Well it seems they didn't want us to run out of work, so guess what's happened to the server stats???!!........

They've exploded!! Well, got a few more jobs to get through now everyone, who's going to be first to get the first million??! I reckon the top 3 from today have a great chance, I wonder if @Toothless might have got a little too warm?? I hope you're OK over there!!

Hello again you hungry crunchers!! I hope everyone is doing well and is having a great day!! Here we are for our Rosetta Pie Stats update for the 4th March 2025!!

And there we are, a little drop in the scores but with timings and such like, I'm not surprised, updates seem to sometimes miss the server stats grab and so on, we are smokin' through these work units, that's all that matters
Still on the other hand, did you see the server stats at all?? Check these out!!

It looks like we've got a couple more days worth and about 180,000 queued jobs have gone, so I think there's enough for everyone I hope everyone is doing well and is OK?? I look forward to seeing you back again tomorrow for another update!! I don't think one should be missing, so I'll hopefully see you then

No, that is my WCG stats

Here are your Rosetta data. I don't know how I got it to be nine hosts when it's "only" seven but I suspect that folding is stealing CPU cycles (RUN time and CPU time show big difference) . You could leave a thread free and let WCG/Rosetta have 7 or 6.

Ah-crap. The old intel 2600K system I won from one of Nortons Xmas giveaways at least 10 years ago (I was still married back then) finally gave up the ghost. I looked for the thread but did not find it so I'm not sure of the year I received it. It served me well all these years, RIP my old faithful space heater.

And there we are for a 2 day catch up with the stats! And as @mstenholm has mentioned, welcome @fastbulletz to the team with his hardware and crunching power!! I'm sure everyone will agree that we hope to see a lot of you crunching away for the team!!
I mean, judging by these server stats, I have a feeling we'll be able to crunch for a little while for now don't you think?? Maybe around 12 days?? Servers stats here we go!

Well that does suck @Zachary85 !! Have you got something to replace it with or would you look to replacing the whole system?? Please let us know, we'll see if we can do anything about it

I did find a pm from Norton that dates the failed system to 8 years of crunching for me.
I did win a Ryzen system from bogmali back in late December that I used to replace my old HP i-5 system and I also built up a new Ryzen system to replace another old i-7 desktop that was failing. I have most of the parts to rebuild my i-7 2600 system, it may take another month or two to get the rest of the parts and get it running, but I will be back.

Well what a really great day, first time ever for the number of members contributing and wow, I'm blown away!! Great work everyone, really great work!! I hope everyone is doing well and is OK?? Here we are with as always, the sever update for Rosetta too.....

And there we are, just a bit over 2.15 million queued waiting jobs, can't wait to crunch them all with you guys and gals!! There's still been over 200,000 jobs taken in the last 24 hours, that's awesome!! I hope everyone will be back again tomorrow for another update?? I think I might have resurrected the old 2600k system. Yesterday I took the cpu out and cleaned the contact points of the chip with DeoxIT D5 and also sprayed the cpu socket down as well. I let it dry for a few hours and it did post again.
If it manages to keep running I may bring it back online in a day or two. I still plan to finish my third Ryzen 6 core 12 thread system to replace the 2600 i-7 system, but it will be several weeks before that happens.

Here we are for a Rosetta Pie Stats update for the 10th March 2025!! Sadly I couldn't see one for the 9th but I think you'll see why when I put these stats up....

And there we are why, it seems the stats never updated on the Monday for some reason, but they carried across the points from the previous day and yesterday, so we got two days stats in one Good stuff at least, its all updated now!! Speaking of which, here's the server stats....

Just over 1.8 million jobs now, I'm going to estimate/guesstimate that we'll have about 9 or 10 days left if they don't release any more work?? We'll see Still, more to the point, I'm just grateful that Rosetta has more work for us that we can keep going with That's important!!

And here we are with a lovely Rosetta Pie Stats update for the 11th March 2025!!

Well it seems we have done very well here today indeed and managed to get a good and solid 9 members contributing to the team!! Outstanding I do hope everyone is doing well and is having a good day?? Seems like our server stats haven't gone down quite as much as they generally do, but here we are with them.....

About 180,000 queued jobs been taken, wonder if we'll be able to see another 200,000+ come off of that number tomorrow... I don't think they'll release more work but I could be wrong!! Hope everyone has a great evening today, take care and I hope to see you tomorrow for another update!!
