Tried different versions of ATI/AMD flash utility with different results, mostly around it being the wrong device.

Device is certainly a 5700 reference card but appears to be an HP branded one.

Stop for now:

Get GPU-Z, screenshot General Tab, then go to advanced tab and get a screenshot of every option in there, then a picture of the white stickers located on the card itself please

Don't flash it unless if you have a backup plan. This is like doing brain, spinal, heart surgery where 1 slip can cause a coma.

I was hoping you'd respond. I'm quite familiar with doing things like this, but this GPU seems weird. Screenshots for GPU-Z forthcoming, need to get the card reinstalled in a machine.
White sticker on card says PJFLU0ARNE71PF under a bar code, and then HP PN: L66584-001

there is also a green sticker on the card that has the SN, AMD Radeon RX 5700 and P/N: 102D1820700 000001

Here are the screenshots.

Gpu-z should show a bios pn, also keep in mind in advanced tab there is a scroll bar so on each item in there scroll down and get screenshots

Does your card look like this 1 other than the serial number.

I added the screenshots, skipped the API stuff, figured you didn't need that. Let me know if you need more.
Thanks for pics, do you have a spare gpu or an igp/apu as a means of recovery if the card were to fail the flash?

Please read the last part of my previous reply. I need to know that before proceeding. Interesting enought i found a file that is claimed to be from a hp xt card that matches yours down to the t, it might be used as a test file forst.
