Two monitors stopped working

Hi

I have UPS mercury elite 900w and it is connected to two monitors. Problem that suddenly without any reason the samsung monitor stopped working and it was a power supply problem later after about 8 months the other AOC monitor stopped working and no one was able to identify the problem. I am afraid if the UPS is the cause here ?

Things do fail and sometimes and how they fail you think there could be some coincidence when there really is none. I wouldn't think a UPS would cause this kind of failure.

I had a Samsung monitor's power board capacitors go bad on me. I think the monitor was 4-5 years old at the time. I had to replace the capacitors to fix it. After that the monitor was used by me for another 2-3 years and then I gave it to my brother and he used it for 3-4 years before retiring it.

That aside, anything else connected to the UPS? If yes, have these other devices had any power problems?
What kind of troubleshooting did you try with the monitors?

I use the same UPS to operate my computer 5900x cpu and 6800 xt card but I think the PC power supply itself can protect the PC while monitors has small adapter power supply. For monitors I could not try anything other than using the switch on/off and change DP cable to different socket
